This policy explains what information Jungle Joey Media collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Jungle Joey Media is operated by Jungle Joey Enterprises.
Information we collect
When you browse the directory. Standard server and security records, such as the pages requested, the time of the request, the browser type and the network address, together with first-party records of activity on a listing page, for example that a listing was viewed or that a contact button was used.
When you apply for a listing. The business name, your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, the plan you are interested in, and anything else you type into the application.
When you contact a listed business or Jungle Joey Media. Your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, and your message. Enquiries sent to a listed business are recorded so that the business can respond to them.
When you hold a workspace account. Account credentials, the users you add to the workspace, the listing content you publish, photographs and other files you upload, services, opening hours, service areas, appointment types, staff availability, promotions, supply records, support requests, invoices and plan history, and a log of significant actions taken in the account.
Listing information compiled from public sources. For unclaimed listings we record business information that is already publicly available, such as the business name, trade category, general location, publicly listed contact details and publicly listed opening hours, together with a note of where and when we obtained it.
Payment information
Jungle Joey Media bills manually. We do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account numbers or similar payment credentials through the Jungle Joey Media pages or workspace, and no payment card processing for Jungle Joey Media services takes place on this website.
How we use information
- to publish and operate business listings and the directory
- to review applications and set up accounts
- to pass customer enquiries to the business they were sent to
- to provide the workspace tools included in a plan
- to issue invoices and keep billing records
- to answer support requests
- to keep the website secure, prevent abuse and investigate problems
- to understand which listings and pages are used, so we can improve the service
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Information that is published
A business listing is a public page. The business name, category, description, services, location and service areas, opening hours, photographs and the contact details provided for customer use are intended to be seen publicly. Do not put anything in a listing that you do not want published.
Workspace account details, internal notes, enquiry records, support tickets, invoices and plan history are not published.
Ratings and reviews
Jungle Joey Media does not invent ratings, review counts or testimonials. Where a rating or review count is shown, it comes from a source identified on the page. Where no such information exists, none is displayed.
Sharing
We share information only as follows:
- a customer enquiry is shared with the business it was addressed to
- with the suppliers that operate parts of this website on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, our security service, our backup software and our email delivery service
- where we are required to do so by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
Tracking and advertising
Jungle Joey Media does not run advertising networks, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on its pages. Activity records we keep are first-party and are used to operate and improve the service. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies this website uses.
Security
Access to accounts requires a sign-in. Workspace data is separated so that one business cannot read or change another business account. The website runs a security plugin and is backed up. No online system can guarantee absolute security. If a qualifying security breach occurs, we will follow applicable notification requirements.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including operating the account, answering enquiries, billing, fraud prevention, and legal, tax and accounting requirements. When information is no longer reasonably required we may delete or anonymise it. Backups are kept for a limited period and then rotated.
Your choices
You may ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you or your business
- correct information that is wrong or out of date
- claim an unclaimed listing, once we have verified your authority
- remove a listing
- close a workspace account
- stop sending you service messages that are not required to operate your account
Write to junglejoeyenterprises@gmail.com. Requests are subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements. We will not require a purchase in order to correct or remove a listing.
Children
Jungle Joey Media accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide accounts to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or technology change. If we introduce advertising, cross-site tracking or any marketing technology, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are activated.
